The Zen of Watercolor Painting with Donna Fenstermaker.
Some of the merits of painting in watercolor are its portability, quickness to dry, transparency, and spontaneity. With this class you can also discover the meditative effect of watercolor. Learn to focus on what the paint, paper and water are doing as your painting begins to dry. Master effective techniques for planning your painting, unlock color theory, and more. This class is designed for both beginners and those familiar with watercolor painting. Most important, we’ll have fun exploring ways you can take your watercolor painting to a more sophisticated level.
An exciting add on: we'll make bamboo drawing tools to use and take home.

The Reading Retreat with LA Bourgeois
Feeling overwhelmed by the pile of books waiting to be read? Do you wish you could run away for a few days and read in a peaceful cranny, curled around a cup of warm tea?
Okay. Let’s do it.
Join me for a time of peace and quiet where the only thing we have to do is read books. Leaves will be beginning their colorful display. Warm days will be offset by cool nights.
Special reading exercises will be available to ease us into longer reading times. I'll also be around for “reader coaching” to help each of us carry our reading habit back into our homes.

Two days of reading all the books. Making progress on your shelves. Delving into those tomes that you haven’t started because you need uninterrupted time.
Maybe we won’t make it all the way through our TBRs, but I expect to see a dent by the time we leave.
